conditions attached to playing it.

Read it. The whole game is here in plain source, and you are welcome to read
it, learn from it, and take ideas from it. Ideas are not owned. If something
in here is useful to you, use it.

Fork it on GitHub, keep a copy, and change it for your own private amusement.

Publish it, or anything substantially derived from it, anywhere — reskinned,
renamed, translated, bundled, wrapped in an app, or hosted at another address.

Sell it, or charge for access to it, or put advertising against it, or use it
or any part of it in anything commercial.

Use the art, the sprites, the writing, the music or the name "Forester" apart
from the game.

Permission is not hard to get. Ask.

THE ART

The sprites and story plates were generated with Google's Gemini image models
through the scripts in tools/, from prompts written for this game and kept in
art/prompts/. The prompts are mine and the resulting art is used as this game's
art; if you intend to rely on that art for something of your own, satisfy
yourself about the terms it came under, because I make no promise about them.

NO WARRANTY

This software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or
implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement. In no event shall the
author be liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in an
action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection
with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.

It keeps your colonies in your own browser's storage. Browsers delete that.
Keep a file of anything you would be sorry to lose — the game will show you how.
